Maassen joins Mad-Croc

The Dutch driver Xavier Maassen has been added to the Mad-Croc Racing lineup for the 2010 season.

Maassen, 29, will pilot the No.11 Corvette managed by DKR Engineering. He joins Mad Croc signatures Oliver Gavin, Mika Salo, and Pertti Kuismanen who will share the No.12 car.

DKR Engineering had a successful campaign in the last five races of the 2009 FIA GT Championship under the Sangari Team Brazil banner and Maassen was part of the campaign for the Total 24 Hours of Spa and the Algarve meetings.

Mad-Croc is still looking for the second driver to partner Maassen, according to DKR's Kendy Jenclaes.

He said: “We are very happy to have been able to sign a driver like Xavier, who proved both his speed and his professionalism last year. We now need to find a second driver as fast as Xavier, in order to fight for the title.”
