Maserati grabs pole in Qualifying

The Vitaphone Maserati No.1 of Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini claimed pole position in a hot Qualifying session at Paul Ricard.

The Maserati pair set a time of 2:03.511 to finish ahead of the No.24 Reiter Lamborghini of Peter Kox and Christopher Haase which posted a time of 2:04.028.

Third place went to the No.23 Nissan GT-R of Michael Krumm and Peter Dumbreck.

The biggest casualties of the Qualifying session were the drivers' standings leaders Romain Grosjean and Thomas Mutsch in the No.5 Ford GT. They dropped out after Q2 and didn't make it to the final shootout.
